Seerosen ist eine fortlaufende Serie, zu der ich seit vielen Monaten immer wieder zurückkehre – angezogen von der stillen Schönheit dieses Ortes und von dem, was er mir jedes Mal neu zeigt.
Im Kern handelt die Arbeit von Wandel und Verwandlung – von Schönheit, die aus dem Schwierigen entsteht, und davon, wie Reinheit nicht am Anfang steht, sondern das Ergebnis eines Weges ist.
Es berührt mich, dass das Leben selbst diese Möglichkeit in sich trägt – wenn wir offen bleiben für das, was sich zeigen will.
Doch je öfter ich zurückkehre, desto bewusster wird mir auch, welche Rolle das Licht dabei spielt. Immer wieder ist es das Licht, das sichtbar macht und unseren Blick auf das lenkt, was sonst verborgen bliebe – das Zarte im Ungeordneten, die Klarheit im Trüben, die Schönheit im Werden.
So fügen sich auch die neuen Arbeiten ganz natürlich in das Thema des Monats und des kommenden Workshops Licht verstehen.

Water Lilies is an ongoing series to which I have returned time and again for many months – drawn by the quiet beauty of this place and by what it reveals to me anew each time.
At its core, the work is about change and transformation – about beauty that arises from difficulty, and about how purity is not the beginning, but the result of a journey.
It touches me that life itself holds this possibility within it – if we remain open to what wants to reveal itself.
But the more often I return, the more aware I become of the role that light plays. Again and again, it is light that makes visible and directs our gaze to what would otherwise remain hidden – the delicate in the disordered, the clarity in the murky, the beauty in becoming.
Thus, the new works also fit quite naturally into the theme of the month and the upcoming workshop, Understanding Light.
