Lofoten - Stilles Licht
Nordlicht, Morgenlicht, Abendlicht, Sturmlicht – Licht, das auf dem Wasser tanzt, und Licht, das durch die Wellen bricht.
Zweimal war ich auf den Lofoten – zu stillen Zeiten im September und März: die Tage lang genug, um Land und Leute zu entdecken, die Nächte dunkel genug, um die Hoffnung auf Nordlichter zu erfüllen.
Wie immer, wenn ich reise, kam ich mit Vorstellungen und Erwartungen – und wie meistens, wenn ich gehe, kehrte ich mit etwas völlig anderem zurück.
Etwas, das ich gar nicht erhoffen konnte, weil ich vorher gar nicht wusste, dass es etwas so Schönes gibt: Stilles Licht hat mich auf den Lofoten – einmal entdeckt – als Leitmotiv begleitet, unablässig fasziniert, zu den unbequemsten Zeiten hinausgetrieben und zu den schönsten Stellen geführt.
Das ist die Magie der Fotografie, die mich nicht aufhört zu begeistern – und in die ich dich durch meine Drucke, meine Kurse und die Atmosphäre meines Ateliers einladen möchte.
LOFOTON - SILENT LIGHT
Northern Lights, morning light, evening light, storm lights – light dancing on the water and light breaking through the waves.
I've been to Lofoten twice – during the quiet seasons of September and March: the days long enough to discover the land and its people, the nights dark enough to fulfill my hopes of seeing the Northern Lights.
As always when I travel, I arrived with preconceived notions and expectations – and as is usually the case when I leave, I returned with something completely different.
Something I hadn't even hoped for, because I hadn't known beforehand that something so beautiful existed: Silent Light, once discovered, accompanied me as a leitmotif in Lofoten, ceaselessly captivating me, driving me out at the most inconvenient times and leading me to the most beautiful spots.
This is the magic of photography that never ceases to inspire me – and which I want to share with you through my prints, my courses, and the atmosphere of my studio.
